Question by quileter: what is better to protect a cell phone?
I have a samsung blackjack II and want to buy some type of cover to protect it, so what is best, a hard plastic clip on case, a glove, or a gel cover? I have had the gloves before on my first cell phone but have not used one since then (about 10 years ago) but since this is a “smart phone” i would like to protect it, As i have not used the other 2 i don’t know which is best

Hard plastic cases protect the best because nothing can poke or tear through. But the gel cases work just as well, and they are more appealing to the hands haha but I have used both on my smartphone and I prefer the gel cases. Gloves are too inconvenient in my opinion.

Im wondering the same thing,.. I have a blackjack 2..that Ive had for about a year now, and its starting to glitch out because its been dropped 1 too many times. So now im on the prawl looking for a new phone.. and I did see the touch screen gsm… for 125 buy it now on ebay.. and personally they look nice, but never heard of them.. i wish someone would anwser this question

LG KM900 = $ 400 Canadian
Samsung S8000 = $ 523 Canadian

Price is not a factor as long as its worth the price. If both phones are about the same I will go for the cheaper one.

Long story short I am looking for speed and performance.
I want something that is reliable and fast, able to run multiple programs with out freezing.

Bonus: Here are some optional things that I want but its also important. I want one that can last long, built strong and doesn’t break easily.

QUality of the screen and sound is also important. And also I am looking for something that has more functions. If you know any other Wifi phones and is a touch screen let me know. “phone” is out of the picture because its too expensive and it always crashes.

wow this is a no brainer, i would definitely go with the Samsung Jet! (S8000) this phone has way much more to it, and on a personal note i love the touchwiz 2.0 on it, way better than the set up of the icons on all the LG phones, on touchwiz you can move things around and with 2.0 you have multiple screens.

Plus with the jet you have an AMOLED screen, it has 16 million colors and uses far less energy than the LED screen on the Arena (KM900), and with the Samsung you get tons of features that you dont get with the LG arena because of the touchwiz 2.0 on the Samsung Jet like the moving icon list on the left hand side of the screen, all you do is drag and drop to your personalized screens.

Personally i would go with the Samsung Jet. One of the main details is the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack on the phone, therefore you can use your own headphones with it, not the crappy ones LG will supply for you. Also it has a cool red and black detail on the back, and photo taking is so much easier with all the functions for the camera, and has 2 LED flash. Hope this helps!
